An online memorial for family near and far
Keep their life story, photos and memories on one quiet page. Couldn't be at the funeral, or live far from the grave? Send the link to family in any country, and they can leave a memory without signing up.
Free for 1 memorial with up to 10 photos. No card needed. It's a family page: only people with the link can open it.
What a memorial page can hold
Everything the family wants to keep about them, on one quiet page without ads, for relatives close by and in other countries alike.
Their story
Their life in your own words — where they grew up, what they did, what made them who they were.
Photos
Pictures from across their life. Up to 10 photos on the Free plan, more with Premium.
Memories from family
Anyone you send the link to can leave a memory, even without an account. Every one is checked before it appears, and you can hide or delete any of them.
The way to their grave
Mark the resting place on a map, with directions for anyone visiting — even years from now.
How it works
Start with their name
Their name is all you need to begin. Add the dates now, only the year, or later. It's free, with no card and no documents.
Add their story and photos
A few words about their life, photos and the place where they rest. It takes a few minutes, and you can keep adding to it.
Send the link to family
Share it in the family chat or invite relatives by e-mail. Anyone with the link can see the photos, find the grave on a map and leave a memory. No account needed.
Optional: verification and search
A family page works without a death certificate. Upload one later if you want the Verified badge, or want a Public page to appear in search engines. The certificate is never shown on the page. How verification works

Why Pure Memorial exists
“I started Pure Memorial after I couldn't be at my grandmother's funeral. What I missed most was a place to go: somewhere to see her photos, read what others remembered and know exactly where she rests. So I built one, for my family and for every family that lives far apart.”
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. One memorial page with up to ten photos is free, with sharing, invitations and memories from family included. Premium ($4.99 a month or $39.99 a year) lets you create as many memorials as you need, with up to 50 photos on each.
Who can see the page?
You choose. Unlisted (the default) opens only for people with the link. Private is visible only to you. Public can be opened by anyone, and once it's verified with a death certificate it can appear in search engines. You can change this at any time.
Do relatives need an account to leave a memory?
No. Anyone you send the link to can write their name, how they knew the person and a memory. Every memory is checked before it appears. Relatives who want reminders of birthdays and anniversaries can create a free account.
Why do you ask for a death certificate?
Only to make a page public and verified. A family page works without it: memories, invitations and reminders are open from the start. A verified page shows the Verified badge, and a Public one can appear in search engines. The check makes sure no one shows a memorial for a living person in search. Any clear phone photo or scan works, from any country and in any language. If a relative has it, send them a private upload link from your dashboard. They don't need an account.
What happens to the certificate?
It's kept in private storage and never shown on the page. Our AI provider, Anthropic, reads it only to check the name and dates; under its commercial terms it isn't used to train models. If anything is unclear, a person on our team reviews it. We delete it together with the memorial.
How are memories from visitors checked?
Every memory and photo is checked automatically, whether it comes from someone with an account or a guest, and anything unclear waits for a person on our team. You can hide or delete any memory on your page, or turn memories off altogether.
Is it for any faith?
Yes. You can choose a faith tradition — Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, secular or other — and the page shows its symbol. If your family prefers it, as many Muslim families do, you can make a memorial without photos.
Can I change or delete a memorial later?
Yes. You can edit everything on the page at any time, and delete the memorial with all its photos and documents.
Can I download everything?
Yes. From your dashboard you can download all your data in one ZIP file — your memorials with their photos and certificates, the memories left on them, and everything else your account holds.
Begin with their name.
You can add photos, their story and the place of rest whenever you're ready.
